Founder and CEO
Chet Zalesky founded ConsumerMetrics Inc. (CMI), a marketing research firm in 1989 and serves as the Chief Executive Officer. For over 25 years, he has consulted with Fortune 500 companies in achieving sustainable growth through insights that drive strategy and initiatives.
His passion and focus is on aligning customer needs with business initiatives that drive profitability. His approach is based on developing a holistic view of a business and its critical information needs so that valuable information can be delivered in an organization-friendly way and used to create effective change. Chet is involved in all facets of research, from new product development and product launch strategies to designing and implementing programs for retention and acquisition, as well as directing the development of information platforms for managing the customer experience process. As CEO of CMI, he provides the inspiration and vision for growth, and also serves as the chief innovation officer.
Outside of work, Chet has been involved at his church managing the annual mission trip to Mexico where each year a team of 30 adults and youth have built a home for a deserving family. He is a current member of the Atlanta Distinguished Clown Corps, a group that since inception has raised nearly one million dollars for Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta.
Chet is active in the research industry, holding leadership positions on the CASRO Board and serving as its Chair, and on several undergraduate and graduate advisory boards. He is a member of Vistage International, a global CEO organization. Chet speaks regularly at marketing conferences on topics focused on “managing your brand” and “your brand experience.” He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Villanova University and studied marketing research at the graduate level at the University of South Carolina.
