On June 12, 72 C5 Georgia Flint and Lantern students, plus 18 Enterprise Holdings regional and local team members including Regional Vice President Tim Schaumburg and Director of Sales Heather Patrick, teamed up, got ready, set, and tackled the holding company’s Go GREEN Life and Leadership Obstacle course head on.
Designed for team building and teaching lessons about overcoming obstacles, the course had the teams crawling (with laundry baskets on their backs), canoeing across a lake (to demonstrate teamwork), hula-hooping (to reinforce consistency) and basically having a blast—careening down an adult-sized slip and slide at the close of the course for example—all to reinforce smart life lessons and the cultivation of good professional relationships.
C5 staffer Destany Arnold tells us: “I was thrilled to see how much pre-planning went into this barbecue day. Enterprise did a great job helping the leadership team build anticipation with the students and staff. The whole experience was an perfect reinforcement of the ideals we teach our students on a daily basis.”
