Selection Process

AN UNPARALLELED OPPORTUNITY

C5 Georgia’s selection is rigorous and competitive. We receive hundreds of completed applications each year and only 40 to 70 students (half boys and half girls) are selected to join C5 Georgia. Only those students who participate in the full process will be considered for selection.

The C5 selection process has 4 key components:

Step 1: Nomination
Step 2: Application & Letters of Recommendations
Step 3: Interviews
Step 4: Evaluation & Selection

ELIGIBILITY

Students are eligible for nomination in their 7th grade year.

NOMINATION

Youth are nominated by schools, youth-serving organizations, or personal.

CRITERIA

We are seeking students who are high-potential, need support, and are challenge ready.

KEY DATES

Applications open November 1 and application deadline is December 15.

Online Application Opens!

December 15

All application materials due! All applications will be submitted online. A complete application includes Free Response answers, your Essay answer, a current grade report, and 2 recommendations.

January 13-17

Applicants invited to sign-up for an interview via email.

February

Student interviews* take place at various Partner sites throughout Metro-Atlanta:

*Partners with 15+ applicants will be asked to host interviews during the week at their facility

Late March

All students will be notified of our decision.
